Dear Members of the EPSA Community,

As the initial deadline for submitting an application to EPSA 2013 is getting closer (12 April 2013) we are glad to inform you that due to the high demand and interest over the last couple of days, the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) is offering public administrations across Europe more time to submit applications to the EPSA 2013.

The deadline is now extended until 24 April 2013 (24.00hrs CEST)! So you have got 13 more days to apply!

So far, applicants from several European institutions and from 28 European countries have registered and processed their outstanding projects. The applications span many administrative sectors ranging from urban development, education, public administration reform and modernisation, eco-innovation, justice, information society, police, human rights and security, transport and infrastructure, public health and social welfare, etc.

As you know, the award contest is open to all levels of Europe’s public administration irrespective of the size or type of administration. Applicants can submit and thus showcase their innovative achievements, in the following overarching theme:

“Weathering the Storm: Creative Solutions in a Time of Crisis”

The award winners and nominees for each administrative category will be presented during a celebratory award ceremony, which will take place on 25-27 November 2013 in Maastricht (NL) and every applicant is invited to attend this event.
